ASASA Chairman Martin Hamilton-Smith says without a court hearing no veteran solider should have their war medals stripped.
“The argument is some people might have been killed when they should have been captured; let’s let the courts sort that out,” Mr Hamilton-Smith told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Until then we shouldn’t be taking anyone’s medals away.”
