It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of 8596992 Private Heather Mary Anderson, who died on 13 November 2022 at Campbell Barracks. Private Anderson was a remarkable soldier and medic who has provided exceptional service to the Australian Army since her enlistment on 16 July 2013. Her passion for medical expertise was exemplified by her study in paramedic practice and her ongoing study in psychology as well as her performance as a Medical Technician at 1st Close Health Battalion, 2nd Commando Regiment and Special Air Service Regiment. Private Anderson was also an accomplished sportswoman, highlighted by her outstanding performance in the Australian Rules Football League Women's competition
Private Anderson is survived by her parents and two brothers.
All personnel are encouraged to take time to reflect on Private Anderson's life and commitment to Service = she will be missed
